Chocolate Cookies (No-Bake)

From a vintage recipe box found at an estate sale

Chocolate Cookies

2 cups sugar

½ cup butter

½ cup cocoa

½ cup milk

Bring to boil and boil

three minutes.

Remove from heat and add.

2 cups quick oats

½ cup nuts

1 tsp. vanilla

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • ½ cup nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  1. Boil: Bring the sugar, butter, cocoa and milk to a boil and boil 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in: Remove from heat and add the oats, nuts and vanilla. Stir until thickened.
  3. Drop: Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let set.
